Change management and sales strategy in Panama

Your company doesn't change when you buy the tool. It changes when your people use it.

I work with owners and managers through new systems, restructurings and sales processes until the team adopts them and the results show up in the numbers.

Results

  • 18+ years

Across operations, technology and people: from the Panama Canal to running companies.

  • 300+

Technical projects in the US, Central America and the Caribbean.

  • 40+

Applications rolled out in more than 15 countries.

  • 10

Technology change processes guided, plus 2 organizational redesigns.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You invested in a new system and your team is still working in Excel.
  • Every change brings pushback, rumors and good people walking out the door.
  • Your sales team lets deals slip that it should be winning.
  • You work longer hours than ever and the company still depends on you for everything.

It isn't a lack of effort. Almost always, the change was designed for the technology and forgot about the people.

Three ways to move your company forward without breaking it

Every engagement starts with an assessment and ends when the change holds on its own, not when a report is delivered.

01

Change management

For companies that are restructuring, implementing an ERP or CRM, or growing faster than their processes.

  • Organizational assessment and structure design: processes, procedures, org charts and job descriptions.
  • End-to-end technology adoption: from choosing the vendor to the moment people actually use the tool.
  • Communication and support plan so the team joins in instead of pushing back.

Billing cycle cut from 45 days to 48 hours after implementing an ERP and CRM.The investment paid for itself in 3 months.

02

Specialized sales strategy

For B2B companies with a good product or service, but sales that depend on luck or on a single person.

  • Target markets and a value proposition for each type of customer.
  • A sales pipeline with clear stages, follow-up and metrics.
  • Business development and strategic partnerships to grow.

Lost sales opportunities down from 30% to 5%.With a redesigned quoting and follow-up process.

03

Team training and development

  • Tailored training programs for sales, operations and technical teams.
  • 1:1 executive coaching for managers and business owners.
  • A continuous improvement culture that stays after the consultant leaves.

200+ people trained and 35+ professionals coached 1:1.Including CEOs and managers.

How we work together

  1. Assessment

A free 30-minute call. I listen to where your company is, what you've tried and what didn't work.

  2. Design

I propose a plan with priorities, owners and metrics. You know what gets done, who does it and how we measure progress.

  3. Hands-on support

We implement it with your team, not over its head, until the change runs without me.

From the engine room to the boardroom

I'm Miguel De Sedas. I started my career as an engineer on offshore platforms and on Panama Canal tugboats. That's where I learned something I never forgot: a ship doesn't move because the engine is powerful; it moves because everyone on board knows exactly what to do.

Later I led projects, B2B sales and digital transformation at companies operating across the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. I opened an office in Houston, founded my own company and ran strategy and operations for a maritime company in Panama.

At every stage I saw the same thing: projects don't fail because of the technology. They fail when nobody takes care of the people who have to change.

I understand both the technical and the human side of change. My job is to translate strategy into concrete, lasting behaviors.

That's why I started MDS Sapiens: to support companies and professionals who want to change for real, with method and with humanity.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with companies or with individuals?

Both. With companies, on change projects, sales strategy and team training. With individuals, through executive coaching for managers, owners and professionals who are leading a change.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the scope. After the free assessment you get a written proposal with goals, timeline and price, so you can decide with all the information.

What happens in the free assessment?

It's a 30-minute call. You tell me your situation, I ask questions and I tell you honestly whether I can help and where I'd start. If I'm not the right person, I'll tell you that too.

Do you work in person or remotely?

In person in Panama and remotely for the rest of the region. Team workshops work best in person; coaching and follow-up work very well remotely.

Do you work in Spanish too?

Yes. I work in Spanish and English, including with teams spread across several countries.
